 In 2002 I started diving. I got enthusiastic after watching a video of a diving holiday at the Red Sea. Great, that I want to experience too some day! Shortly after having seen the video, an introductory dive followed. Not long thereafter I obtained the Open Water certificate.

I started diving 10 years ago, and got into undwater photography 5 years later. What once began as a holiday joke has grown into a true passion: underwater photography at any spare moment. Especially in our own (Zeeland) waters.

My diving career started after doing a discovery dive in France in the summer of 1995. It took a winter full of swimming pool lessons before finally ready for the first real outdoor dives in 1997.
